| We truly feel blessed to have chosen the Avicenna for our stay in Istanbul. Spent six nights in an Elegance Room in september 2008 and generally found everything like a first class.
The facilities are great, the staff polite and helpful.Place very clean and tidy. Very close to Sultanahmet square Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque Went on a great boat trip and saw all Bosphorous. Can not wait to return there next year. |

| Everything that has been said about beauty,comfort,history and hospitality at the Avicenna Hotel is 100 accurate. Service and turkish hospitality is the reason for that.My boyfriend and I stay for 2 night in the panoramic view of Bosphorous on the first stop o our trip to Turkey. The room with the view and decoration and the service is just perfect.Enjoy your stay. |

| My girlfriend and I were traveling through Turkey, last week and some people we met told us about this hotel,so we decided to try it and we made a reservation just for one night. Once we stepped in We loved it so much.and we spend 3 nights in it.The atmosphere is like being a guest at a friends house.we slept peacefully and comfortably that night and we awoke with the prayer that morning.the garden was even more amazing and so was the breakfast. It was just what we needed, calmness and serenity.Staff and manager were so helpful and friendly. They are very caring to make your stay as pleasant as possible! |

| I stayed in the Avicenna Hotel for three nights in October 2008. I chose it based on good reviews on an internet site and others, and found the positive comments were well founded. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Sultanahmet in close proximity to the Blue Mosque. There are many traditional hotels and restaurants nearby. Traveling alone, I requested a single and was given a spacious room with a comfortable queensized bed on the top floor. I had a partially obstructed view of the Blue Mosque from my bed. Very nice.The call to prayer at 05 30 am is loud, so expect an early wakeup call. The rooftop bar has a nice view of the Marmara Sea Bosphorous. |

| I stayed here for 4 nights in september with my daughter and sister. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable with a balcony giving us a view over assorted rooftops to the Marmara sea although there are a few very quiet back streets There are plenty of restuarants and cafes around offering a wide range of priced menus and waiters who fall over themselves to please. Breakfast at the hotel was a feast you could literally fill up for the day, hot pancakes, boiled and scrambled eggs,toast,cold meat and cheeses,bread, jams and honey, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, juice and a selection of cereals!!! The breakfast room with a small garden was very clean, well maintained and seemed to have enough room for every one. It was also open for a long time for those who could not start the day too early. This is a hotel I would recommend and return to. |

On behalf of my wife, daugther, son in law,and myself, I just want to once again thank you for the wonderful hospitality you all displayed during our short all too short stay in your magnificent city, Istanbul.
From the very first glimpse of the charming timber facade of your establishment, I knew we were going to love it and it only got better as we settled in. it felt like home! Your are so favorably situated in relation to interests and transport. Your place is excellently appointed, we found your staff friendly and helpful, the service fantastic and not forgetting the breakfasts!
simply marvelous! It compares most favorably with some higher rated hotels we have stayed with in the past.
We shall gladly recommend Avicenna to all we know visiting Istanbul and you can rest assured that when the opportunity arises again, which I hope will not be too far off, Avicenna is where we shall stay!

| What a fantastic hotel and fantastic people! From the moment we entered the staff made us so welcome!Mine and Emrah made us tea,gave information about Istanbul and even took John to the barber!Everyone from the manager,reception Mine and Bacheli,bellboys Emrah,Hakan and Batu and waiters Baris,Murat and Maurrem gave us nothing more than outstanding service and friendship. Everyone helped us learn basic Turkish words which helped us learn more about Turkey. They are great ambassadors. The service is excellent,food fantastic,rooms spacious,clean and extremely well cared for.We would recommend this hotel to everyone!We would hope to return n the not too distant future.
